I am having a similar issue with the latest release, 3.1. I get the "RC Override" bar in orange if I disengage change modes, i.e. orbit to zipline, and then try to re-engage. The only way I was able to get things working was to close the app and re-start during flight. Is this supposed to happen?

I understand that point, but when you have an aircraft like the phantom 2, that has proven itself (in a way point fashion) why second guess yourself. DJI is already flashing a disclaimer (no liability waiver) that removes the risk from DJI. My simple point/question is "why go backwards"...

Way points is junk. You have to fly the route first before you can have the autopilot actually fly the mission. The phantom 2 series has a better way point setup than this. What was DJI thinking? It took how long to get this firmware released and this is what we get...I'll stick with the...

This happened to mine on the last update. I followed the instructions...Just like the instructions and video's state. I even used the original SD card and deleted everything before I put the .bin file on the card. I tried the update several times, called DJI, chatted online with DJI, etc...
