Parachute and orientation of Inspire 1

Here's the parachute module common to Opale but some design is different, and price is more sweet. Parachute ejection module INSPIRE 1 To avoid X5 touching the ground you have to connect the parachute rope to the bottom side of your I1. Then it will land upside down and the gimbal will be...

Mars 58 (parachute) on Inspire 1

I've got Inspire for a limited amount of time to measure it and make design of parachute mount. We've made several test flight with parachute landing and the video was worst so I don't publish it. However I have video for Phantom. Landing method is same, upside down and parachute is same 50"...

Mars 58 (parachute) on Inspire 1

Have you ever try it? One thing I have noted on video, on the last part it shows Inspire with legs lowered, however in flying mode legs are in upper position and when you land with parachutes the lowest point is gimbal and camera. No matter how much parachutes you will have on your Inspire, the...

Mars 58 (parachute) on Inspire 1

I have exactly same opinion that's why I prefer to use Stop Flyaway. But in some cases you have no time to press the button. Today I have tested my own fall detector, will do some cosmetic things and will release to the market. It works same as Mayday but costs less.

Check if the servo will work with 1S. Mayday board may work even with 3.3V but servomotor will need 5V. If less then it won't have enough power to open the mechanism. Currently I have finished working on the fall detector board, will release soon.

Complete Failure of INSPIRE 1 during flight - Dropped from 400 feet

The problem was met in Phantoms first time and also I had notices from my friends who own Inspires. After some time the battery comes low voltage for a short period of time and then come back to normal. Maybe because of motor overload or whatever else. But this may cause the controller to...

    New Firmware Fly Away Crash...BEWARE

So finally what's the finish of this story? Did they repair it or what did they say? Sorry to hear about flyaways every time, but say thanks to God that it didn't fall to child's head or on the highway. Install Stop Flyaway and a parachute, don't fly without safety system! That must be the rule...

The cause of >99% of flyaways [ some productive tips & argument]

What about sudden change of GPS coordinates when using RTH? What about losing control and flying away and not to start point? What about battery error? We've got many many many different issues where pilots were flying 50 times ok and on 51th their Inspire either flown away or crashed for...
