You might be surprised how well ground station pro can be set up for poi. You draw a rough circle where you need to fly, set curves at each point, then adjust camera angles for POI effect. You can set up before hand so you just fly it when you arrive. Not perfect of course but I was surprised...

I would run some comparison tests on the ground and in the air with same settings to make sure vibration isn't playing a part also.

It would also depend on where you tap to focus I think. I would expect the best place to tap would be the center of the screen rather than toward the edges.

Yes, it was out of warranty so about $120 or so. I love that 25 lens though, which is why i decided to take a chance with the repair.

No I think they just did a standard calibration and cleaning to return to spec. The report did not mention any problems found.

Maybe switching to ATTI would have helped?

I sent my 25 in to Olympus and it returned much better. It is fine for video and while there is still a small bit of blur zoomed into 100 percent on photos, it is all gone by F4

As far as I can tell there is no battery update or remote update, just the aircraft.

I have noticed a left side blur issue on my 25mm zuiko also. It's pretty bad at F2 and larger apertures. By 5.6 it clears up though. I only have this on the 25, not the 15 or the 45, so I am pretty sure it's the lens. Anyone sent their 25 back to Olympus for repair for this? Just curious if they...

I like to use lens hoods to balance the lenses and I noticed that at least on the 45 they can catch some of the prop-wash which introduces vibration and jello in some cases. I replaced the hood with a bare step-up ring to balance and the jello went away. I use a modified lens hood for my 25...
