Difference in DJI equipment US vs Europe

I know it's an Inspire forum, I am here from a while now, but I was replying to Pilotnumber1 that was considering buying an Inspire (or a Mavic Pro) and asking a simple question. Hope my reply didn't bother you too much. Sorry if that's the case. Sent from my iPad using InspirePilots

Difference in DJI equipment US vs Europe

As far as I know the transmitting power of the remote is slightly less when operated in EU due to different regulations. The transmitting power is automatically reduced. The aircraft operating range (e.g. The Mavic Pro) is 4.3 miles when operated according to FCC standards, reduced to around 3...

Inspire 1 - Replace One Motor or All Four

Spent about $130 for the two pair (4 waterbuoys). Check marsparachutes.com for the parachute+Mayday automatic deployment system. There is a specific kit for the Inspire.

Inspire 1 - Replace One Motor or All Four

Here we go, one on each side of the bird But it's useless if you don't install a parachute system it would crash into small pieces anyway

Inspire 1 - Replace One Motor or All Four

Hi, "end of life" for a brushless motor is something really far and away in the future unless something obstruct the motor from spinning: avoid landing on sand and dusty surfaces and take care of the motors air intake while travelling outdoor ....there are so many other components that can fail...

Inspire 1 - Replace One Motor or All Four

Hi Kris, I had a similar experience with a V.1 during my 4th flight from new, and had to replace two motors that suffered some scratch and dings on the rotors. Never had any problems since that small incident. My opinion is YES, you can replace a single motor as they are brushless, and NO, I...

    Help! Propeller stuck on!

Hi, never happened on 1345S but the QR have a quite straightforward push-and-rotate mechanism, In my opinion there is no alternative way to reach the locking area, not even if you disassemble the motor. How many flights? In my opinion you can't damage the motor trying to unlock the prop if you...

Inspire 1 new propulsion system with 420KV motors and new prop mounting/locking mechanism

Apparently Inspire 1 is now being offered with a new propulsion and prop mounting /locking mechanism. The new motors are now sporting 70KV more than the current version. Wandering if this a useful upgrade just for the 1 Pro owners due to higher weight of the X5, if it's retrofittable to the...

How to land in tall grass?

Take a look at my landing pad. Size is 60"x60", custom design and made to order. Very easy to spot from the distance. Printed on thick lino, quite heavy, really safe to use when Inspire taking-off/landing in strong wind scenarios. Big enough to land FPV with the Headplay HD still on, when...
