I thought I read somewhere that on the inspire if you don't update the firmware eventually it won't let you fly. Can anyone confirm this?

I used duracoat electric lime. I got the white but didn't use it.

Duracoat is a two part paint that cures hard. It's meant for firearms and adheres to metal and plastic. They do sell a version that comes with a compressed air can to apply it. I personally just used my airbrush. As far as taking it apart I was able to do it without looking anything up online...

I love the look of grey but in the end I feel like this is a bit of extra insurance

I really wanted a Gun Metal Grey but if I ever lost it I wanted to be able to spot it easy.

I used Duracoat to paint mine Green!
