    Would seem to be ideal for that, very good at matching styles with drone footage I would think.

    Sound test

    Bought a £4 ($6 US) lapel mic off eBay and tested it. Before and after video below. The inbuilt sound is simply unusable as far as I'm concerned. Which is ok by me as I would never use a camera's inbuilt mic to record sound, but you might not agree.

    I reckon with a bit of practice, and outside in some decent daylight, the footage will look incredible. That was literally my first shot after taking it out of the box. I'm planning on using it doing walk and talk type stuff with the lapel mic, filming car reviews etc.

    Cheers, I'm sure he'll enjoy it. I got my extension arm and universal mount today so I can fit my Rode Videomic Pro. Then realised I'd left it switched on and run the battery down, sigh. Also bought a lapel mic so I can record myself talking about stuff as I film it :-)

    Got my Osmo this morning and had a quick play. It's wet outside so tried it in my gaming room. I had trouble with 4K (screen went blue) so I had a go with 1080p/24. I can see I'm going to need some practice!

    Inspire X3 not compatible with OSMO handle

    They're different because the Inspire X3 is designed to have a longer focal point and deeper depth of field than the Osmo X3 I believe. I imagine DJI are holding off on releasing the handle only till the firmware is ready
