Cancuck- I wasn't even thinking about atti, I try to fly in atti most of the time so perhaps why I've avoided this scenario to date. Question, as she's rapidly climbing in RTH mode and you switch to atti, does it immediately sync the motors back to your current stick's throttle position?

That sucks man. I also started in 2000 w/ a nexus 30. So you *should* be able to kill RTH by pressing the button? and did I read a dialog box also appears on the screen? I run an Ipad mini. Did you think or try to kill the motors by going bottom center w/ the sticks as a last ditch effort...

I'll have to pick one up soon. My raymarine (by flir) I bought for my yacht has half the resolution and half the features and cost over 10k. The exception being it's waterproof and has a heated window.. So you can switch between ir and standard camera if I've read this right?

Do many of you guys see this disconnect? He'll I'm running the stock USB with a apple lightening adapter. I have a mini 2 NOTHING on it except DJI. Never experienced an overheat or disconnect. To be fair I haven't flown in the sun on a super hot day.. I'd rather be on my boat for that.

Should come right home. At what point did you lose VLOS? What was your return home altitude? Could it have hit something on its linear RTH route? I would absolutely be checking the route in between.

That blows they won't at least give you a price to replace everything electronic on board... Doesn't really surprise me though. I'd buy a crashed one and swap everything over you possibly can.
