    Can anyone tell me this isnt a ripoff?

    It's all about the camera and gimbal, and both really, really sucked on this machine.

    Awesome SRP Filters for the Inspire 1 {VIDEO}

    Additionally, for 60fps the 1/120 shutter speed will give less smear, so the high action stuff will look more sharp as is desired by the guy asking.

    Anyone tried decent filters on the Inspire 1 camera?

    Hi Jeff, I'm decidedly not here to trash any other filters. I just happen to have knowledge through years of use/testing that the production process of the SRP stuff is very thorough and that my image is not degraded in any way, on top of the benefits of cutting the amount of light coming into...

    Permits for flying in National Parks

    Well you could always say the footage was from 2012, before they banned drones! Nobody has ever been prosecuted from posting national park footage as far as I know. It's mostly about being caught when you are there.

    Whoa! Headplay

    Maybe it's already been covered. As I posted my message I noticed that there were 1 pages of threads. I won't deny that I want to try the headplay system! But I also know that a lot can go wong if you're flyng in the wrong place. Man, I have crashed a lot! But I was also flying an XProHeli XP2...

    Permits for flying in National Parks

    I have a family friend who was the main guy at Colorado National Monument, and even with the inside connection, I could not get permission. The people working there don't have the authority to make the decision, at least in my case. You could always just call someplace and inquire what process...

    Whoa! Headplay

    Though FPV is fun and really awesome, you guys do realize that you can't see above, below, to the sides, or behind you right? I did FPV for a long time, and that's when I crashed the most. I eventually moved a monitor to my transmitter like the Inspire does now, and crashes came to a complete...

    Permits for flying in National Parks

    You will not get permits. Drones are specifically banned in national parks. I don't think they can get you for having the footage after the fact. It's just a bust if you're caught flying a drone in a park. You could just be asked to leave, or they may confiscate your stuff. Best to go during the...

    Max battery life.

    Don't forget that many times the batteries can drop from 25% to 7% to 3% within 10 seconds, especially if you haven't deep cycled the battery after 10 flights. It just happened to me. I was expecting it though and was hovering low. But that has happened to people over water who were still far...

    Awesome SRP Filters for the Inspire 1 {VIDEO}

    RGD, there is only one size of photo on the Inspire. I think what they meant is that when you print out the photo they should be 12x18. Anyway, I think it's probably best to shoot photos with no filter, or the DJI ND4 that comes with it. That way you can get your shutter to at least 1/500 for...

    Awesome SRP Filters for the Inspire 1 {VIDEO}

    Actually SRP does have some ND4/CP filters, but not many. If you contact them they will sell you one. There just isn't enough demand to make a lot right now. And Yes, just agree to disagree! I'm not responding any more to someone who argues over and over and over and over...

    Awesome SRP Filters for the Inspire 1 {VIDEO}

    No I do not agree. You obviously aren't a videographer. The 180 degree rule applies to action sports too. For 60fps your shutter should be 120. You may break the rule to taste. You will get more smear at 30fps 60 shutter. It's fine if you disagree with me. I suggest you do a little googling on...
