LIVE BROADCAST ISSUES - Cendence update V02.00.0160

You are not the first, and you wont be the last to fall for DJI's fluffy, sugar coated, all singing, all dancing, pooping rainbow's PR bullshite. DJI's interpretation of 'Broadcast' and yours and mine are very different. When DJI say 'broadcast' they mean 'web streaming' and that's all their...

    Motor Mount Alternative Solution

This is the best way to stop your motors parting company with your air frame. https://dronedepot.co.nz/inspire-2-parts-accessories/824-dji-inspire-2-feet-clamp.html They add strength instead of making it weaker by drilling holes.

    inspire1 dynamic home point

Well done ! Yeah we flew it all in one go, but we had a few battery stops along the way. We were traveling at about 50km/hr and flying over and under bridges crossing the motorway, so we chewed through the batteries. I learned the hard way about the RTH on the first battery. We had traveled a...

    inspire1 dynamic home point

I have done the exact same job. I filmed a 20km stretch of new motorway in New Zealand. You sound like you have your head around it. Don't worry about your home point. Monitor your battery life closely. At around 30% flick to manual mode (non GPS) and land. I filmed from the front passenger seat...

Bricked Inspire 1, Has enybody ever seen this ...

I'm not saying the firmware was corrupt. The odds of something happening to two machines at the same time is extremely likely if the cause is environmental, ie both machines exposed to dust and extreme vibration at the same time and they end up in the same fault state. Re loading the firmware...

Bricked Inspire 1, Has enybody ever seen this ...

No, they were just cleaned and put to bed. We were operating in a very dusty environment so the inspires were air dusted and batteries charged. I have concluded the faults were caused by excessive vibration in transit. The vibrations were greater than the IMU parameters would allow, and that...

Bricked Inspire 1, Has enybody ever seen this ...

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I have a electronic/mechanical engineering background and have been building multirotors for years, so the strip down rebuild is no problem. Can you tell me more about the IMU reset procedure. My first ever FC was a Naza, but after some dubious performance I switched to...

Bricked Inspire 1, Has enybody ever seen this ...

The batteries are not the issue. They are all fully charged and I have tried multiple different batteries in both air frames and the same fault still exists.

Bricked Inspire 1, Has enybody ever seen this ...

Hi, yeah the battery is fully charged. You cant see the lights because of the angle of the camera and it was shot in bright sunlight.

Bricked Inspire 1, Has enybody ever seen this ...

I was on a job 2 days ago with 2 Inspires. I flew both on Saturday with no problems. Cleaned, checked and charged them Saturday night for shooting on Sunday. Got up Sunday morning and went to start one, it came out of transport mode ok, but wouldn't initialize and had no flashing RGB light. It...

Can anyone tell me this isnt a ripoff?

Ummmm ... Last I looked DJI, (creator of the Inspire 1) are a Chinese technology company founded in 2006 by Frank Wang Tao (Chinese born and bred) and headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, in, yup you guessed it ... China. Enough of your 'original western' redneckness That is all

Australian dealer recalls all Inspire 1's due to QR prop system failures

Maytech.cn do a great range of CF self tightening and QR with aluminum hubs at great prices and quick delivery. No I don't work for them, haha. I just rate their products and service (unlike DJI) and believe we should support companies that give it. Talk to Yina, she will sort you out. Yina...
