    Expert Opinion on Picture Quality

I'll also add: keep in mind, as your ISO goes up, so will your noise. When editing, watch your exposure adjustment as it will bring out more noise in teh shadows (above image). Also, use sharpening, then gently use noise reduction. As others have commented, every lens has a "sweet spot"...

    Expert Opinion on Picture Quality

Composition: too much clouds. Use rule of thirds and crop out some of the clouds. Exposure: underexposed. Always shoot RAW allowing for better editing. F/stop: for landscape, try f16, if possible without jacking up ISO. F16 is about as sharp as you can get with respect to DOF. Composition...

Flying over roads, NOT Part 107

Reality is: you'll fly across roads with traffic, people, animals, and even encroach into regulated airspace. It happens. I've seen it happen. Just sayin. Use your best judgement.

    Too good to be true?

Likely too good to be true. Could have been crashed, no engine, or a grandma drove it to church on Sundays only...get what Im saying? I'd pass, especially if it's in Indonesia and not in Brooklyn.

US Military bans use of DJI products?

How is the part of teh current administration rhetoric? This is common sense for any administration looking at national security issues, considering how the Chinese are expanding their influence in the Pacific. They are a world power, with a larger standing army than the US. Don't be naive...

US Military bans use of DJI products?

Why is it hard to swallow? This ban is for military applications, not civilian unless you're under contract with teh DoD. I can't blame the DoD for banning Chinese manufactured drones for military functions and over US military installations. This is a matter of national security, something...

Chinese drone maker denies giving data to government.

I'm always going to default to my country's interest. Just seems plausible DJI could have passed sensitive data on to teh Chinese government.

Sunrise Stills - Colorado Drill Rig

I used a couple of different lenses...15mm & 45mm. You can tell which is 45mm by the compression of the image.

Looking for constructive criticism on a real estate shoot.

Like the first poster said. Not sure when this video was shot (sunset?), but try to get footage during sunrise as the sunlight is warm and exposing the front of teh house. In this footage, the front of the house appears cool and uninviting. Just some personal thoughts.

Sunrise Stills - Colorado Drill Rig

Just a few stills of drilling along the front range of Colorado. November 19, 2017 near Johnstown, Colorado. I2.

Encounter with a National Park Ranger,,,or the stupid B4 UFly app.

The Park ranger is correct. National forests are fine to fly, but ALL National Parks are off limits to drones (per his statement).

USA 90 Days notice is insane for Part 107

So, in an ideal world, you pass the overhead costs to the client. But, unless it's a 5 digit production, it becomes cost prohibitive and the work gets passed on to someone else, or you just take a chance and plead ignorance. If people really want to mess with park people, just show up with a...

USA 90 Days notice is insane for Part 107

So, why did you file a request through teh NFS? It's my understanding, and a very clear one at that, you are permitted to fly in NFS lands unless otherwise noted.

Encounter with a National Park Ranger,,,or the stupid B4 UFly app.

I think the real issue here is the park ranger overstepping his / her bounds. If the NPS has jurisdiction beyond its park boundaries, then this is a new precedent by NPS. I would call the district office and file a complaint.
