Continuing my comparison on Inspire 1 and Typhoon H

I think we made potato cameras in science class. Oh wait...that was electricity.... Or something... ;)

    Local Data Mode

Does anyone have any experience using DJI's new "Local Data Mode"? If so, can you please post your experiences, e.g., which platform, which DJO GO version, iOS or Android, etc? Thanks!

    USA flying over people

If you are a Part 107 pilot, yes...you would need to get a waiver.

    UK 400ft and above.

I think you also have to be within 400 feet of the structure horizontally, under FAA Part 107.

Looking for a florescent orange skin/cover for dji matrice 100

I have this item on one of our Inspires. A little on the pricey side, but you sure can see it... Flying Ag Inspire 1 Extreme Visibilty Graphics Kit

    Upgrade v1 to v2

I believe the V2 is too different from the V1 for there to be a "kit" for upgrade.

HOW TO: Setup and use Waypoints

I think your best bet would be to use a 3rd party app, such as Litchi or Autopilot.

    Fly away?

Did you try uploading your log file to healthydrones.com? It's well worth it for times like this...

    Electric Eye

Well done! You seem to have a knack...expand on it...!

    no image transmission signal problem!!

Was there a firmware or DJI GO update applied between the time you tested it and now? If so, that may be the problem.

Need a UAV to tow a payload

My opinion...but, after looking at the AirBIRD site, I'd ditch the quad and go with the fixed wing solution. Much more stable.

    UK Pfco practice maneuvers

The 3DR sim is actually pretty good. You can fly through buildings, around trees, around the Statue of Liberty, etc.. Much better than the featureless DJI GO sim.

    USA What would you do?

Bring them down...so to speak ;-)

    UK Pfco practice maneuvers

Interesting that the UK requires demonstration of competency as well as knowledge. In actuality, I am all for that level of assessment and would be supportive of it in the US.

    Jittery Footage craft

My understanding is that the editing software (Adobe or Final Cut Pro) will help with that greatly.
