IMO the firmware updates will fix your problems...my bird did the same thing when I neglected the latest controller update....

You can contact them through the support tab on their website. BTW, never fire up your bird if the camera/gimbal is encumbered from freely calibrating. Never leave your bird on for extended periods of time without flying or having a cooling fan pointed on it. Both of these things can burn up...

Take it back and exchange it....

Is it new? Contact the seller....I had to buy a new camera as mine was out of warranty..

Resurrecting this old thread to ask if you replaced the whole camera assymbly to fix this problem, Thanks UPDATE: After a couple of discussions with DJI tech support resulted in the usual "Send it in to us" I bit the bullet and ordered a new, factory warranted camera. Issue resolved.

Hi All, Been away from the Inspire for a few months, did the latest firmware install but camera reports it's still running 1.8.1.00....is this correct? Thanks.

Thanks j, just received mine and discharging now....going for the full discharge to 3.5/cell..... that light gets hot and bright!!!! So far I've fully discharged 2 batteries...TB 48 took 58 min, TB 47 took 40 min. Device shut off automatically as advertised....Caution! Bulb gets very hot, do...

Normally if time is available I like to deep cycle my batteries every flight...been doing this for 2 years on various DJI equipment with good results.....

I should have clarified....sorry.... I fixed the problem by buying Headplay goggles....direct connect to hdmi is the ultimate experience.....:D I use my phone for the buttons only.....no problems

A year ago I was testing antennas that measured about 2'x3', now I have greater distance capabilities with a 3"x 6" format.....:D

I gotta agree....looks like a lot of work for $100.00!!!!

sirnik is absolutely correct...5G8 only talks to the slave, not the bird....
