I have a simple question about the Adobe Premier Pro workflow.

It all depends on the lenses you'll be using.
Check the list of compatible lenses (for the X5) and which ones require a balancing ring:
DJI MFT 15mm f/1.7 ASPH *
Panasonic Lumix 15mm f/1.7 *
Olympus M. ED 12mm f/2.0
Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8 *
Olympus M.Zuiko ED 14-42mm...
I'm following the standard workflow as discussed on other foruns. Cinelight -> adobe dng export -> slim raw -> cc friendly etc.
When I export the raw media (after editing it), I get an encoding error message.
I'm using two GTX 980 in SLI mode.

Hello, I had the exact same problem on my brand new X5R. I'm returning it (DJI approved the return and exchange). It's a hardware problem. It's a shame what happened to me and you.
