I had similar issue and had to return the controller due to usb port defective. The simulator will not run unless you connect to the aircraft which you cannot thus the message. When you connect the aircraft of the controller the Go app should launch if it does not most likely a bad usb port...

Thanks for deleting the duplicat Editor. Yes I have left it on charge and still no lights. I tried the connector disconnect as well with no success. Is there anything else I can try before sending it back to DJI?

Turns out it was the usb port. DJI repaired in three weeks. Now I have TB48 that will not turn on --tried the connector disconnect with no luck. Probably will have to send in to DJI, I was purchased in August with about 20 flights ($200 appears a bad deal for this battery)

I have an android device and the flight simulator works perfectly...I am using the latest updates as of Jan 8,2015.

Does this release have any solution for those who upgraded to DJI Go app 2.4.2 and lost camera view? Will 1.5xx FW work with RC 1.4xx? Since I have no camera view have been unable to upgrade RC...still grounded.

I called DJI USA and they were having technical difficulties. I sent an email 4 days ago with only the acknowledgement... So far they are zero in my book

If this is an indication of DJI, called support "they are having technical difficulties".....Now I understand why I have issues.

I I am interested in Litchi and needed to know if DJ GO app is required to run Litchi. In reading posts I see members listing DJ GO version. When DJI released Go App 2.4.1 , running on a Samsung Tab S it would not connect to RC but no issues with earlier versions, is this an issue with Litchi...

I have the same issue with android. When I updated GO app to 2.4.1 it will not connect to controller. The connection to the aircraft works. The GO app has no camera view and states "How to connect". WTF is wrong with DJI? ...very buggy releases. They just released 2.4.2 for android I hope that...

My controller connects to the aircraft and will control it but the app will not connect to the RController. Maybe they will send me 2.40 GO App? That will cure my issue!@#@#$@$#%$#%$grounded
