Inspire X3 not compatible with OSMO handle

My Osmo was working fine until I tried to use Inspire X3 on it. It was beeping the same way it would if it was updating the firmware but I didn't choose to update the Osmo firmware when I was prompted. I let it sit for 10min beeping. Now, Osmo doesn't turn on anymore with either its X3 or...

DIY 3-Battery Rapid Charging Station $60 or less

I completely agree with this. My original setup doesn't use the charging plate but it requires a lot more electrical work. If quality holds true, I thought the charging plate would be a better option for most DIYers. My current setup doesn't use the charging plate and will charge at ~10a if...

DIY 3-Battery Rapid Charging Station $60 or less

You can bypass the over current protection of the battery by turning it on before plugging into the "charger" I wouldn't recommend it as charging at that rate will definitely reduce the life of the battery and it will get hotter than usual during the charge.

Propeller Case - Anyone make or Print one?

No need to wait that long if you just get it from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FBC54VW I've been using mine for 4 months. Can't beat $8 and fits in the tradscraft case perfectly.

Propeller Case - Anyone make or Print one?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FBC54VW I use this. Only $7. Tube is 15in x 2in 4 props fit and the tube fits nicely in the original case where the props used to be.

DIY 3-Battery Rapid Charging Station $60 or less

True, 5A is almost the same as stock but you can charge 3 at a time with the plate. Are you sure that you have the newly designed plate with the resistors? They have one with and without. The resistors look like cement block above each charging terminal.

DIY 3-Battery Rapid Charging Station $60 or less

Carlsberg, You can charge just one battery with the charging plate in my link. The current is being limited by the resistors on the plate. It will only allow 5A max to each battery. The battery will not shut off due to the over current protection. If you want to use your 1200w power supply...

HPRC and Go Professional case reviews

Thanks for the review. I was deciding between these two exact cases and ended up ordering the HPRC because it's smaller. Now I'm having a second thought after reading your review because there isn't much cushion/clearance on top of the Inspire.

DIY 3-Battery Rapid Charging Station $60 or less

Parts you need: While I was testing, many vendors on ebay & Amazon are now selling the kit. One such kit is: http://www.amazon.com/Converter-Parallel-Batteries-Charging-Quadcopter/dp/B00YP9SPGI/ For $75, you get the power supply and the charging plate. It is more expensive than buying the...

    LANDING MATS (PORTABLE LZ MAT)

I just use regular board game. I'm sure many of us have these tucked away. They fold nicely into a 9in square and very portable. You can buy generic blank one on Amazon for less than $10. It's sturdy enough not to be blown away during take off and it won't interfere with the VPS system.

DIY 3-Battery Rapid Charging Station $60 or less

I will be putting up a DIY in the coming days on a charging station that I'm working on. Parts are less than $60 and can be done in less than an hour. I'm doing some more testing to make sure the battery are charging correctly. The $60 estimated cost is everything you need. The picture shows...

Custom Ready to Fly Landing Case DIY $200

Case is a tad bit tall to put in the trunk of my coupe. I'm selling it for $200. Already spent hours fitting the foam so you don't have to. Local pickup around Los Angeles Area 626. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Custom Ready to Fly Landing Case DIY $200

Original case is nice and small but I was annoyed with changing from travel mode to landing mode each time I fly. Found a case that might be the smallest one out there that will allow the Inspire to be in landing mode with camera on or off. It's a Seahorse SE1220 case. It has the usual pick...
