Yawing with the craft is not reliable enough (or I am not skilled enough) to get consistent, smooth movements. Did not know it was possible to change left wheel to Yawing though. Thanks, it's a start.

It's not a SIM card (sorry, pet peeve after working in a camera shop for a while). The issue is probably that it is not a "fast enough" MicroSD. for extended 4kvideo or 60FPS 1080 video you need a card that can write at 90+ Megabytes per second.

How old is the SD Card? They don't last forever.

Try removing the lightning cable and re-inserting it while the app and aircraft are active (on the ground of course) I found this to be the answer to this issue after 2 long RMAs to DJI with no communication

Yes, multiple times. The first time the issue happened, I pushed them down with a chopstick (only thing at hand that would reach in there) and it seemed to make it better, but lately it hasn't made a difference.

Hmm, thanks for the link. My Inspire is back in LA again for service. I hope they can fix it this time as I will be traveling with it and need it in good working order. If it is not better this time, I will try this method. Thanks

Thanks. Now at home doing what I can diagnostically. Guess what? It connects just fine inside my home. Whereas an hour ago it wouldn't connect at all. This is driving me up the wall.

So I went out to shoot the great surf today, thinking the issue had been mostly cleared up. NOPE. It's worse than before. I had to stop and restart the craft/RC over 2 dozen times because it would not connect, to get 4 flights, all of which ended because I lost the video connection. This thing...

So here's what happened. I used a trusty USB cable that never gives out charging 18650 batteries daily. I set up the Inspire, and turned it on. The camera went through it's dance, and I had an image. Then when the calibration dance stopped, image AND RC signal were gone. Arrgh!!! I tried again...
