I like It. I often think about how can I put the Star Wars Ghost body on my Inspire. That would be amazing to me.

I'm looking at my log now. I received my Inspire Me on 24 July, but first flight was the 25th, as I did all my firmware updates, etc. I only have 2 batteries, 1 TB47 that came with the bird and 1 TB48. Sorry, my brain was saying feet, the app says feet.... but my fingers typed miles...

I thought the same as you. But, ended up buying the inspire. No regrets, as I fly almost every day. I have flown over 200K miles and I have not had it a month yet!

I've never flown the phantoms. However, I have years of R/C helicopter experience and small quadcopter experience. But, the inspire reminds me of a .90 size / turbine helicopter. Rock solids, thus far (knock on wood)

Mine fails all the time on carpet. I now do Ito. The case it came with, or tile. That seems to have fixed the issue. The carpet is nice thick, bedroom carpet. I forgot which type.

How many phantoms have been sold?

I assume a lot. My local hobby store buys 5 at a time. When I bought mine, 4 were already sold. I prepaid for mine, so they could not sell it, but already had offers to buy it, if I didn't take possession of it. He does that monthly, sometimes more if people prepay.

I did the updates without any major problems. I did not recalibrate anything, but I will today. My range is better and I still got 50+ MPH with her. One thing I noticed, it is 95+ degrees out here in TX, is that on the second battery I was starting to get Lag. My battery was almost 60C...

Pilot here too, get the I1, it is awesome. I bought it on the 25th of July and have over 115K miles on it.

No, but I got it last week, so I'm guessing the latest version.

When I bought mine, it said all firmware needed updating, so that was the first thing I did. However, once I did it, I realized that I had all the latest firmware already, but it was the smart thing to do. I just bought another battery and it needed to be updated, so had to do it all over again...
