Grassy parks can be misleading, as they may have ferrous water pipes, sprinklers, drainage pipes....just a foot under the pretty grass. I've launched from parking lots, with rebar, by flying drone from grassy/dirt areas where bushes are planted....often no ferrous stuff under the plantings.

More often experienced setting for raw files switches to jpegs..which I DO NOT WANT...so yea, settings often get jumbled. But I've learned to check all settings before flight. I've only flown LAOWA 9 for still shots...so can't add any experience to video setting changes.

Thanks for your reply. Cleared cache, as one forum said. Swapped out one of my Crystal Sky monitors, flew Inspire2 for two sets of batteries, used one set fully for video. No glitches. Used CS on my Mavic2 and no glitches either in video or still photo. Life goes on.

If I have complete control, no need to invoke RTH. If I don't have stick control, then RTH may or may not work anyway? Unnerving...I'll test and determine if APP actually comes back or if it needs re-initialization? Seems there are different messages from Big Daddy DJI....no reason they can't...
