    Inspire X5S and Osmo

So you think that DJI a year from now is going to release a camera that is compatible with a year old "Core Imaging Engine" what in their past leads you to believe this? They will release the Inspire 3 with Core Imaging Engine 2 capable of whatever new technology they are selling and the new...

    Inspire X5S and Osmo

I dont understand why everyone is ok with integrating the camera with the aircraft, this just means that you will be buying a new aircraft every time you want to upgrade your camera. The actual inspire 1 is a great aircraft and should be able to fly for a few more years as a quality production...

    Inspire X5S and Osmo

Ok but what about us photographers that only need a better sensor and no prores or cineraw? I hope that they will release a new camera for the Inspire 1, we need an X3s with a a 1inch sensor or a 4/3 with focus on photos not video.

Inspire 2 will be released on November 8th

If the new X4s and X5S are not compatible with the Inspire 1 that would be very disappointing. I don't see why you would buy into the Inspire system anymore, just buy the P4 Pro and upgrade every year, The only reason to buy an Inspire is for the X5S and are the real world results that much better?

    Gimbal Off centre

I can't even return in with the Yaw reset button, I can make it move to the center using my finger on the iPad manually, but then the Inspire thinks its not looking center so the gimbal tries to level the camera based on incorrect data so it goes all over the place. I called DJI and they said I...

    Gimbal Off centre

Did you ever find a fix for this?

    Gimbal Off centre

For me the "return to center" or "reset yaw" will bring it back to the current, off center, facing left, position. I too have my C2 button set to reset the yaw for forward. even after recalibrating the gimbal it resets itself to this position, off center.

    Gimbal Off centre

I am having the same issue I think. I was on my first flight of the day, everything looked normal, I went through normal pre-flight check list, camera and gimbal operated perfectly, most importantly it was straight. I took off and flew for a minute or so and the horizon wasn't level so I...

Actually X5 Sample Footage (NOT X5R)

I think people have forgotten that this is a completely new playing field. These aerial cameras systems are cutting edge, everyone on this forum is an early adopter and with that comes problems. DJI is not perfect, but they are pushing the limits in RTF aerial systems. The X5 is a great step...

    DJI X5 Camera and Gimbal

That doesn't have builtin recording, you have to stream the video somewhere else to record. Wouldn't work on the inspire.

Adobe RAW 8.8 released with support for Inspire 1

Adobe just released Adobe RAW 8.8 with support for "DJI Inspire 1 FC350" for Photoshop http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2015/03/camera-raw-8-8-now-available.html It does a great job fixing the lens distortion.
