Thats soon a challenge I am facing, once I have the Zenmuse M1 holder, getting a decent wide-angle or zoom lens on an iPhone-powered Osmo Mobile, maybe with larger S+ phones and Exolens it will work.

If you are talking true webcam only way I could think of is to have iOS device, use FilmicPro app to control Osmo, use Apple HDMI adapter to get fullscreen clean Filmic video out of iOS device, and then use a capture card on computer to make that video available to apps like Skype and others...

The facial tracking option on the new Osmo Mobile and apparently Phantom 4 is really nice feature. Is / might it also be available on the standard Osmo? Great for pieces-to-camera for reporters.

Excellent project, however over open sea I would use drone with more rotors. Here in East Africa simple drones used for research on crane birds (Rwanda) and as possible tool to keep elephants/buffalos out of fields and villages (Kenya). Kenya drones also able to drop chili powder :-)

Well on the video the IR image is running on an iPad. Me am not so much interested in the M100, but that cool automatic opening drone port that DJI uses to fly into the wild...StarWars style...

Thanks for sharing your experiences @purezerg Interesting questions raised. We get our 2nd controller Wednesday and will start testing on the iOS platform. Transmission strenght from the bird might be an issue, wonder if signal boosters would enable better reception (apart from extended range)...
