    DJI Zenmuse X5R Review

I feel the same way. I was partially expecting to be let down in some way too. So far...nothing bad to say. I love it.

    DJI Zenmuse X5R Review

I have made a few requests with DJI for the PC Exporter. Ability to check/uncheck all, or select multiple shots and import all at once. Also, for it to remember the last "saved to" location and default back to it.

    DJI Zenmuse X5R Review

I think it's changing. The actual customer service is really good. When you call, you talk to a real/knowledgeable person (better than most companies). If there is a problem, you usually get shipping covered to send it in on an RMA, they don't usually charge for repairs. The problem is the...

Thanks. I'm using Premiere Pro to edit, After Effects to color.

    X5R - "Into Summer"

Shot on the X5R using the Inspire 1 and the Osmo. Color graded with custom LUTs that will be available fairly soon. I will also do a step by step color grading tutorial if anyone is interested in learning the workflow for a couple of these shots. Enjoy!

    OSMO X5R Test shot

I think I have it figured out now. It only happens on certain shots when you change the Contrast setting in ACR. If you leave it at "camera defaults", no flicker. If you change contrast...flickering in some shots. Change contrast via "Curves" on the second window in Adobe Camera Raw to get...

    OSMO X5R Test shot

I have experienced the same thing in several shots. Some of the flickering ruined what would have been epic footage...so annoying.

    X5R Flickering...Uh Oh

It's been fairly random for me, honestly. Seems like the only consistincy in it is 4K/24. I haven't noticed a single frame when shooting UHD/30. Even then, not all 4K/24 has been flickering either. AE is much more fluid for heavy grading than PP, not sure too many people use it for...

    X5R Flickering...Uh Oh

Noticing it at random now. Nothing to do with shutter speed or lighting. Seems to mostly show up in 4K/24 and almost never in UHD/30. Although I have shot stuff in 4K/24 that doesn't flicker.

    X5R Flickering...Uh Oh

Update. It's an Adobe Camera RAW issue. Setting the shot to "Camera Raw Defaults" gets rid of it. Then I brought back individual adjustments one at a time to see if it caused the flickering. White balance, no. Contrast down...yes. This is either strictly an Adobe problem or it's something...

    X5R Flickering...Uh Oh

Anyone else experienced it yet? ISO 100 looking at the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Will post a video shortly. Say it ain't so...it's pretty bad. X5 bad.
