What would be inside Inspire2? New flight controller based on just released A3? That takes at least 8 months. New camera based on new Ambarella chipset? That takes about a year also. Inspire got new motors, that has to be good enough for this year.

I have no inside information, but given DJI's current track record I don't have my hopes up that the video problems are fixed overly shortly. They've made couple of firmware updates to X5 with little actual benefit so far but I'm sure they continue to try. Apart from X5R there is no successor...
