That's interesting. Over a year ago, I ordered a P2+ GoPro case from Amazon and too arrived without an insert. Sent it back without incident. No big deal, and product is outstanding notwithstanding.
Don't forget you'll that you'll need the spring mechanism for your motors. It's the quick release motor adapter. CW and CWW.
I ordered and received the props, but they did not come with the mechanism. Now I'm waiting for the adapters and wish I knew from the beginning.
The problem remote won't link as a slave to the good Master Remote. However, when I set up the problem remote as a Master (obviously without connection to the Inspire), I can connect the Good remote as a Slave. Ideas?

I've upgraded successfully both the Inspire and Remote to newest version. The updates have been confirmed via the hidden log file left behind, and subsequent upgrade attempts fail because both RC and Inspire recognize that the attempted upgrade is no newer than the installed firmware.

Many of us have this issue. Although I am in NY and have no yet tried to launch off a boat yet, we are hopeful that DJI will come up with something before summer hits in the Northeast. 80% of my DJI use is in the summer, AND off a 38' boat. I hope they prioritize this.
Don't give it a second thought. The bad experiences are ALWAYS prominent and get attention. It's a great product and affords much gratification. Be careful in the beginning, calibrating often, to make sure you don't have problems with your particular bird. The you're off and running.
