to be honest, your best bet is to go and do some learning about cameras and their manual settings. theres loads of different combinations of settings that work in loads of different cases (capturing a picture of landscape vs something moving, dusk vs midday, near to the subject vs far away etc)...

Do the shoot at dusk or dawn instead of actually at night. Then you'll have some light on everything around the car instead of it all being black. Iso 1600 is useable depending on what you want the cottage for after, but lower is obviously better in most cases

Possibly so. Outside of half of the photos having a magenta tinge on certain tones I've found them to be relatively straightforward to edit. tho that doesn't mean my editing is much good, I've generally been able to push them towards where I want them 9 times out of 10!

with stills the ND filters aren't as important, you can control your exposure with your shutter speed as well as your aperture. the exception might be if your using graduated filters to try and balance your dynamic range (keep detail in the sky as well as the ground), which I haven't seen yet on...

youll probably want to shoot in dlog on the inspire 2, that defaults the iso to 500, and ive found it to be relatively clean. proress will be nice, but for what your looking for, the sensor size would probably make a bigger difference than the bitrate, and seeing as theyre both micro 4/3rds...

you could get lucky on the youtube audio library. itd take a while, and theres no guarantee youll get what your after, but it is free so its worth considering
