don't buy from DJI direct. i'll throw Kooltoyz into the mix, bought mine from there Alan's a good guy.

be lucky if my batteries have 10 flights each on them, full stick forward with throttle in GPS mode and it kicked in, can mind thinking wtf canny be already, has happened a couple of times since then. the voltage drop is bad, the C rating is way to low for the load.

the batteries are a con! £180 for a poor quality 6S 10C battery with some electronics to protect it from popping because it's cheap and nasty!

yup slug mode, why did they not use batteries with a higher C rating? i get this message even with about 60% left in the battery at times.

i wouldn't have thought it would feel to good in the air even without any extra weight i don't like them, never have been a fan of flying flimsy props.

canny believe the size of the batteries some of you guys are hanging from the inspire, seems mad to me it must affect the way it flies quite a bit?

got the new Inspire today, came with 1.8.1.00+ on the aircraft, 1.6.0 on the controller and 1.8.1.00 on the camera so i'm not going to bother upping dating as from what i can gather there's nothing major changed? maiden tomorrow weather permitting :)

thanks shall keep that in mind, after fitting a different updated camera to it all was fine apart from the intermittent ESC i started to see, still not been off ground yet lol it's being replaced for a full new one on Tuesday. hope this machine lives up to the hype so far i'm not that impressed...

well after a quick chat with the online support, sent a link to my video, the log files and it's to be exchanged. pretty good going and not as bad as i thought it would be, just need to contact the place i bought it from now to arrange things.

my experience wasn't good, i went for a job interview at his shop and he left me hanging so... asked him about it, said the decision hadn't been made, never heard from him again :( lol

i know him, not someone i'd like to deal with but that's a whole different story. going to contact DJI support.

yup that's my next step. not quite sure how to do this upgrade via the remote, it's not going to try do it's dance thing with the USB cable in?

yes i used the original and have tried a different SD card, still nothing, same thing :(

the remote is currently on the latest version, 1.6.0 i think is it? any attempt to flash the inspire and it starts to do what you can see in the video above, it's like it picks up the bin file then blah a continuous bleep. the log file from the Inspire says failed. i'll try the Inspire again...
