Can you operate the gimbal using the Gyro in a tablet?

Same idea as the Freefly Mimic - But is there a way to do it for the DJI Inspire 2? Does anybody know a way to control you X5S using the Gyro in an iPad? So for example as you tilt the iPad, the camera will tilt etc. I'm assuming there might be a VR app that allows this? I have an upcoming...

    DLOG not staying as default.

Finding the same issue Gregg! And also it resets to NTSC upon every power cycle (i'm usually shooting in PAL). Did you find a fix?

Hey man, the Olympus 14-42mm is a great one for inspections. I can't imagine you'd need the X5R over the X5 but sounds like your set on that. I think you'll find the zoom on the 14-42mm hugely beneficial for inspections. I've done an inspection with a 45mm Prime and it was not easy - would have...

Hi Guys, Just thought I'd drop a shameless plug for those that aren't already aware... I'm the drone technician at RC Geeks down in Sussex, UK, so if things ever go south and you need your inspire repaired or want to geek out over the phone or in person, feel free to get in touch. I also fly...

The latest list of compatible lenses for the X5

I bodged mine with a coin and some tape when i first tried it but some 3m double sided tape would probably be neater. You can attach a £1 coin to the center of the back of the camera body. But If that's not heavy enough to balance it, i guess you'll have to find another way to improvise. Let me...

The latest list of compatible lenses for the X5

Worth testing. I did it before (but weight on the lens end) when the 45 was first supported and it was ok. As long as it's balanced, it shouldnt make much of a difference and the gimbal motors are pretty beefy so they can handle a lot. As they're brushless, you have no chance of burning them out...

    X5 frimware update, NEED HELP!

Strange that it's not taking the update. Format the card on your PC, then format it in the camera, then try drop the bin file on there? If no luck, try a different card? If still no luck, yes it will probably be worth downgrading then upgrading

    Video Specs 1080p?

Hey man, not sure about the first 2 questions - maybe someone else can chie in on those but in answer to your 3rd question about the controller... Speaking to one of the DJI reps they told me that no, the i1 controller is not compatible with the i2

    No GPS built into remote

It would be cool if it came with inbuilt GPS but as long as your phone/tablet you're using has GPS that should be good enough (that's what the inspire 1 and phantoms use).

    Inspire 2 case??

After seeing the carry case (Buy Inspire 2 - Carrying Case) as the launch event, i can vouch for it being much sleeker and felt a lot more rugged than the i1 stock case.

    Couple of questions

Hey man, With regards to redundancy of motors... yes, a hex is, in theory, safer. However the way i see it is... Inspires are in incredibly reliable platform in terms of staying up in the air (i'm saying this coming from a DJI drone technician and commercial drone operator). They don't just have...
