    FOR SALE - Inspire 1, X5, CrystalSky, etc…

Looking to sell my Inspire 1 kit. Very little use as I just don't have anywhere local to fly and didn't have time to generate business to use it for. This really is in pristine condition, I think the X5 might have only seen one flight and other than my BNUC exam flight I think I've only done...

Just ordered a Mavic Air so the Spark has to go - I love it, but can't afford to have it sitting around. Sale includes the Spark Fly More Combo: • Spark • Remote • 3 Batteries • 2 Sets of props • Prop Guards • 3 Pack charger • DJI Shoulder bag • Black Spark only case • 2 Cables Additional...

    Crystalsky mount

Can anyone tell me whether the part which bolts to the CS monitor is universal - ie it'll work with both the mavic and inspire/phantom mounts?

    WANTED - Transmitter part

Does anyone (in the UK) happen to have one of these (see pic) which they would sell me or know of a vendor who specialises in DJI spare bits and pieces? It's the cover from the HDMI/USB module on the back of an Inspire 1 remote. Long story short, this one is no longer fit for purpose.

    UK UK insurance renewal

I went with moonrock again. Premium came down a bit as I lowered cover to £1m, but for a nominal fee I can up it to £5m for a month as/when required. Not needed to claim so no idea how smooth that process would be.

    UK CAA how/where to pay

I've just submitted my renewal documents, but can't find any info on how to actually pay my renewal fee, I don't suppose anyone has a link?

Gimbal yaw mode for shooting panos?

Can anyone recommend an app for shooting panos which has the option of gimbal yaw rather than aircraft yaw?

    Cell Tower Inspection

If there's high intensity interference/encroachment all over my control frequency I wouldn't fly.

    Cell Tower Inspection

On the RFExplorer screen the frequencies are displayed as a graph. Frequency along the bottom, strength up the side. When you switch your Tx and Drone on - in a reasonably quiet RF environment you'll see the graph spike, showing the strength and frequency of your transmission. If you do this...

    Cell Tower Inspection

RFExplorer make a handy device - I've got the one which covers two sets of frequencies - so I can see everything from UHF to 5.8ghz. When you power up your drone and transmitter you'll see a spike on the readout graph showing your frequency. When you do a test on-site you'll be able to see...

Anyone else had a dubious looking email claiming to be CAA? (uav insurance title)

I just checked on the CAA site and the CAP722 is still the 2015 version - the amendment document mentions that 722 will be updated at a later date in accordance with update cycles. CAP393 has been updated to the 5th edition.

    Mapping Accuracy with IP

They're currently using a topographical survey to get measurements of the site and boundaries - accuracy to 1cm. Levels need to be taken across the site(s) to establish finished floor heights and set drainage - accuracy to 5mm. Not sure what an aerial survey will bring to the party here -...

    Mapping Accuracy with IP

South West London. But the project in question isn't around here. I fired off an email to see what kind of accuracy he'd be looking for… I also need to satisfy myself that I can produce a quality product.
