Crashed today due to pilot error. Hit a tree and bounced on its top. Battery popped out, camera popped off, and gimbal cables unplugged. Lost one rubber shock. Was able to get it back together, and fired it back up. Camera worked, had GPS, etc. I decided to calibrate the IMU just to be safe...

I've now experienced the tx losing connection with the quad. It took three tries to make the connection yesterday. Not making for a "relaxed" day of flying. I'm running current app, current firmware, and using an Air2. I have lost video signal before, only to have it return a few seconds later...

GPS is off, and I'm in airplane mode. The firmware is current, as is the pilot app. I always calibrate IMU and compass before flying. I don't know what re-downloading the pilot app would do, but I'll do that when I get a chance to fly again. Question: how do you calibrate the GPS?

I just started test flying in ATTI mode. I equate it to driving without brakes. GPS uses brakes. Gotta admit heart was beating a little faster, but flying was much smoother, and a blast. Didn't push it out beyond 50-75 yards, or above 100ft. I don't think I looked down at the monitor... Lol
