This happened to me also. I sent it in, as the previous posts have demonstrated that it's insanely difficult to effect the repair yourself. I think it's among the worst design flaws of the I2, because it's so easily fixable and so insanely inaccessible. Hope they re-design this for the Inspire 3

There is no mSD card in the X5S. The card is in the I2. So I'm puzzled as to what he is referring to.

After you upgrade craft and RC to .300, just insert next pair of batteries and start up again: GO4 will announce incompatible FW. Wait for the announcement. Just slide to update and that battery pair will be updated. Takes about 2 mins/pair. Easy, Peasy!

You only need the CinemaDNG (RAW) license. If you have both, that works also.

I had issues myself using both Assistant 2 and GO4 with Crystalsky with numerous attempts failing. Someone suggested using iPad with GO4 and after 2 tries it worked.

Latest info on RCGroups and Facebook (allegedly, I don't do FB) is that ProRes Raw for X5S is in development. Crossing my fingers. :)

AFAIK, this is a transcoding issue for Cinecore2.1, not a data rate issue. ProRes requires transcoding in Cinecore 2.1 whereas CinemaDNG does not. If you want 4K60, shoot in RAW, as it requires no transcoding, hence the huge file sizes. Same issue on the X5S. If ProResRAW is soon available on...
