    The Mother of All Chargers?

I've tested this battery myself extensively as well, to the point of taking it apart and tracing the basic circuit. Kilrah is right - the charging terminals go through a simple series of mosfets (switches), then directly to the battery. There's no current limiting going on. This battery uses...

Submerged in river for 12hours , and miraculously revived.

I wonder if the circuit boards inside the Inspire are dipped in conformal coating (the clear plastic coating you sometimes see on PCBs). It would explain why it survived the salt water. I know for a fact that the battery PCB is coated, but I haven't taken my inspire itself apart, so it's...

Submerged in river for 12hours , and miraculously revived.

Great story! I think you were very lucky. Pure water (distilled) doesn't typically hurt electronics, as it has a very high impedance, but most lakes and rivers have enough impurities in the water to ruin the electronics if it's running when it hits the water. I wouldn't be surprised if there...

    Failsafe RTH issue?

Interesting... Well, that would certainly explain what happened to me. Glad to hear it'll be fixed in .18

    Failsafe RTH issue?

In my case, it was about 2000 feet away when I lost signal and failsafe RTH started. It went home at a very fast rate of speed and did not climb.

    Failsafe RTH issue?

Interesting... In my case, when I went below my takeoff altitude, it did display a negative altitude value. It got all the way down to -50 when it went into failsafe RTH, then made a bee-line back to home without climbing...

    Failsafe RTH issue?

The place where it lost signal and came home was about 2000 feet away horizontally from the takeoff point.

    Failsafe RTH issue?

Right, that's what I would expect, but in my case, when failsafe RTH triggered, it did not climb to 60 meters above my takeoff point like I would expect.

    Failsafe RTH issue?

I had an unusual thing happen the other day and I'm wondering if it's a bug or intended behavior. I took off from the top of a building which was 80 feet tall. I then flew to another location and decended to an altitude of -50 feet (50 feet lower than the takeoff altitude). I lost signal at this...
