Good to hear. I shipped mine in a few days ago and am waiting for a response from the team. Will update the thread as things continue.

1st accident caused by of lost propeller

Is there a history of the Inspire 1 version 2 losing its props?

1st accident caused by of lost propeller

Hi folks, Yes it was one of the quick release fastening things. The propeller came off clean with no broken parts. I am afraid I couldn't recover the propeller that flew off. I have no idea where it went, but I definitely saw it fly off towards the sun before my Inspire started plummeting...

1st accident caused by of lost propeller

After years of flying I had my first accident today because a propeller came off mid flight. Luckily, I was not near any property and the only thing damaged was my inspire 1 version 2. I was in an open field so all parts were easily recovered. Sadly, I was not recording at the time so I have no...

Inspire 2 preorder up on DJI site

Unless you are regularly shooting for a cinematography studio I see this new inspire hard to justify. Most of my shoots do not even require what my inspire 1 is capable of. Although I would like to have it for fun! If I hadn't just remodeled my basement I would do it.

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

I am very sorry but I have a hard time believing that reporting illegal drone operators will cause a deadly accident through a butterfly effect. I understand that this is a very controversial topic for some but I have spent far too much time following this and I leave you to continue with...

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

I have already given examples of how it has made a difference. Not looking to get people fined. I understand we will never see eye to eye on this issue.

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

I appreciate your guys' opinions but I don't think enforcing regulation will cause the FAA to implode. Also, my local FSDO has not discouraged me from my reports a single time, so I am not sure where Vic Moss got his info. I am sorry if it bothers you so much.

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

Maybe if the illegal operators would pay the fees to operate the drone the FAA would be better funded?

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

One reason I wanted to find a better way to check if someone is licensed is because I have called or spoken with these people. and as you can imagine, they aren't too happy with me inquiring and get incredibly defensive. All my reports to the FAA include my name and address. I will continue...

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

I personally don't mind trash cans at the end of the drive way. But because I moved into a neighborhood where they do, I should be considerate of that. The neighbor wasn't being a jerk for reporting me, I was for ignoring his and everyone else's simple request. As good a point as I make, an HOA...

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

I used to have the same stance as you did until somewhat recently. I don't want to get into it in depth for sake of time, but looking at everything via hindsight I am glad I started reporting illegal operators and I wish I had done it sooner. I was already successful, but it has increased my...

    USA Verifying Part 107 Operators

Yes, I can see your point. As long as it didn't give out addresses or numbers I would be fine with that.
