She almost flew into my house, with no stick input!

Just a quick follow-up, after the update last night and the bit of weirdness with the mode switch I was able to fly six batteries today without incident, very happy!!

    Not quite steady on takeoff...

I'm not sure if this is a universal issue, yet I've noted that my inspire moves around quite a bit on takeoff in P-GPS, yet only for the first few minutes of flight. Once I've had her up for 2-3 minutes she becomes rock-solid stable in hover. I've seen similar behavior in other inspire raw...

Crap, this time it worked as you've described. I recant, ugh, still going to give it a test run tomorrow to see if anything has improved, yet less optimistic. :(

Really strange, mine doesn't do this, I experience the behavior that I've described where it sticks in ATTI mode. I'll test again just to be sure.

It was stuck in ATTI mode, sorry, I didn't mean P-ATTI, I've corrected my other posts to clarify. If I flip the mode selector to the center on the remote (ATTI) and the deselect Multiple Flight Mode it will never go to P-GPS, regardless of where the switch is it will stay in ATTI mode. Give it...

Note: I tested turning the remote to ATTI on the switch then disabled the Multiple Flight Modes option... sure enough it was stuck again in ATTI regardless of the mode selection switch location. So, that may solve much of my "this bird is really flying weird" issues. This contradicts the...

She almost flew into my house, with no stick input!

OK, so.... this is weird. I went ahead and did the firmware update this evening, hoping that it would resolve some of my issues, not sure if it has, yet I did figure something out. Previously I didn't have the slider for "Multiple Flight Modes" selected and it appears that it got stuck in...

    "Critical battery" warning issues

39% is pushing the limits for what I'd feel safe starting a flight. I usually end my flights @ 30% as a precautionary measure.

I'm more interested in seeing the # of satellite's that are being tracked, regardless of which they are. Similar to what the HDMI was showing (not sure if it still does as I don't use this functionality yet). The little cell-phone style signal meter is too basic for my liking.

This is true, it'd be really nice to have # of satellites acquired displayed in the app!

Called DJI, absolutely no assistance, yet they did say they service them in the States, which is good news if it's true as, I was under the impression that everything went back to China. I opted to wait until the next firmware release before I have them check it out. I went to a big field and...

Hopeful as well, otherwise I'm grounded.

When I had my "Compass Error" yesterday it was recorded in the logs. Does the automatic switching to ATTI mode also record an error? Perhaps this is what happened, yet no log entry today. At this point I'm going to restrict my flying to much more open areas until I'm more confident in the...

Thanks for the screen recording idea, I'm not currently using one, yet it would be handy if I do end up having to coordinate evidence of a flight.

There was no indication of a compass error on this particular flight and almost no wind at the time. I've flown RC for several years and smaller quads for the past year or so, this is the first time I've had the luxury of a GPS assist, I have plenty of practice flying full manual with lots of...
