Looks like no one has 100% verified if it works on the I2. I believe the Inspire 1 controller works with the phantom 4 advanced however I wonder if the p4 controller with the built in screen would work for the Inspire 1? It would be nice if it worked on the I2 as well.

Yea, you can mount the black pearl and your iPhone. You put the black pearl in the plastic tablet holder, and then get one of the phantom 2 cell phone holders and mount it off the metal controller handle. Use your iPhone for maps and monitor drone orientation with black pearl.

Lol I was gonna say, dude I have an inspire completely stripped down. Every screw removed and I do not recognize that screw from anywhere at all. Glad you figured it out!

Home Depot tool box I had laying around lol but hey it works perfectly and has nice bins up top for chargers cables etc. definitely a good fit too.
