    New Nationwide Pilot Survey

No less than $695 plus mileage for the drone video,, or its not worth getting in my car. Interiors (pics and video) would be an additional day rate of $1800.

Any reason why it would be dangerous for young children to operate the I2 slave controller on a family trip?

I don't see an issue, but having said that, if something DOES go wrong and someone gets hurt (even if not because of the kids on the control), part of the FAA report would be that there was a 6 year old on the controls, meaning there may be some liability on your part. That's the only thing I...

    Airport markings

Definitely one of the obvious cases of 2 FAA guys sitting in a bar at the start of 107 era saying: ‘So, what questions should we put on this 107 test’? Guy 2: dunno, let‘s start by copying and pasting questions from the SEL test....’ Which is understandable, but not so much after this many...

Overcoming the DJI Dance for Long Exposure

If you were zoomed in at all, that would amplify any small movements and cause blurring of long exposure shots. Also the amont of wind will affect clarity as well as if the wind is gusty or not. There are many factors that affect long exposure shots.

What can be the reasons if my drone doesn't land properly?

My car is making a funny noise, what could be causing that?

    Client’s Drone/Aerial Footage Request #244/245/246

Interesting request regarding Guantanamo, If the request is for the Naval base, although I can't imagine what else a film production would want there. While there is a flying field inside the naval base for recreational RC flying, commercial flight on or near the naval station are strictly...

One motor is slower... How can I determine if it is a 3510H or 3510?

Did the IMU cal fix the slowness of the motor, thus fixing how it us rotating? Or did it just fix how it rotates? Its critical on these to make sure all motors are turning similar rpms. Yes they can compensate, but if all motors aren't balanced (similar rpms and similar temperatures), you can...

Public Safety - Following a vehicle

Sounds like you’ve got a great situation to do that, and that you’ve given proper thought to it. So hopefully it works out. If it even results in catching 1 bad guy, it seems worth it. The fact that you are a firefighter also helps the situation. Not sure if a civilian could do that. Good...

Public Safety - Following a vehicle

Hmm, so, in order to accomplish that, you’d have to be notified there’s a chase somewhere, get in your car speed to the approximate location, or be guided to where the police are, jump out of your car, unload your drone, start it up, get through the boot up sequence, get up to altitude, then...

NEW TB48's FOR SALE (for Inspire 1) - SOLD

I’m curious how you’ll guarantee them as functional? Especially given the facts above. You expect a buyer here to trust that a member that signed up 6 weeks ago is going to refund their money if the battery doesn’t work even at twice the original price?

    Virus

Business picked up quite significantly this year for me in commercial real estate. It seems executives can’t travel to buildings they’re working on to see progress, so the locals hire me to do virtual tours. Same for builders that build neighborhoods, people want new homes but don’t want to...

    I1 BATTERIES - 3 TB47 & 3 TB48 | 1 Charging Hub | 2 Charging Cords | 1 Battery Warmer

I understood what you meant, and I’m sure most other people did as well. Donnie must be having a bad day.

    DOJ BAN DJI, alternatives?

I suggest you loose the attitude quickly, if you want any serious discussion. Your questions and statements are not clear and people asking legitimate question. You won’t go very far around here with attitude like yours. Pretend you’re talking to people in person. That should help you have...

What do you charge for photos or video?

Even a cover version, you need permission. And if you’re getting paid OR if it’s going on YouTube, it becomes ‘commercial’. Also, I see some nice shots, but even those get old after about 40 seconds. You want to tell a story, not just take a bunch of different shots. it’s fine to get nice...
