Anyone know any technical info about the inner workings of the inspire?

Yea all that works, never tried taking a photo since it says disconnected, I will try it though, thanks for the tip! My phone shows connected and charging is only reason I thought usb port was fine, did yours do that as well or was it completely dead?

Nope, I get "disconnected" in the app

Anyone know any technical info about the inner workings of the inspire?

Well as the app says disconnected most of the settings are inaccessible and the ones that are don't change, By tiny button on the bird you mean a little red one? I kinda doubt that is the problem since I can fly the bird just fine, controller is linked, just no app data and the app no data...

Anyone know any technical info about the inner workings of the inspire?

Yup, did all that already. . . . Can someone please take the nose or gimble off their craft, unplug the thicker of the two cables that goes into the front of the inspire(not the thinner one that goes into the bottom) and then turn it on and tell me what doesn't work please? Will take about 5...

Anyone know any technical info about the inner workings of the inspire?

Remote is linked just fine, craft flies perfectly, just the app isn't getting the data from either the bird or the remote for some reason, I'm looking for hardware spec info here, like what data transfers through those two gimble cables, thanks

Anyone know any technical info about the inner workings of the inspire?

Got a problem, app shows disconnected and I'm trying to figure or why, it's not the device or the cable, no info about battery and altitude and no video show at all, seems the modules responsible for transmitting this info aren't connecting. When you plug in the device it shows it's charging...

Why you don't fly over other people's homes...

I didn't see ant planes or helicopters at risk in this video, but I didn't watch the whole 5 minutes of nothing, please point out the time maker where you saw at risk aircraft, thanks

    App shows disconnected

It's not the USB port I soldered, it was the port the gimble cable goes into on the board on the front of the inspire. Unplugging it caused it to detatch slightly from the board so it wiggled around. Have not tried another remote, don't have one and I run older firmware so I'll never find one...

    App shows disconnected

Yup, rc is linked, it flies and controls everything, just no video pic but app says disconnected. Thought it might be a gimble cable connection, replaced those, noticed the port one of them plugged into was loose and a guy at the drone store said that might be a problem but didn't think it...

    App shows disconnected

Got an inspire one, says disconnected on the screen, it's not the device, tried multiple, not the cable, tried multiple, device says its charging and vibrates when plugged in, what's the possible cause? I'm thinking hardware problem in either the remote or inspire itself, ahhh any ideas?

FAA list of fines against UAS operators

I don't keep up on local ordinances, I just heard a few places like la and las Vegas passed some local uav ordinances.

FAA list of fines against UAS operators

You don't need radar, you have ears and eyeballs don't ya? If not then you shouldn't be flying a uav in the first place. You can easily see and hear small aircraft coming from a few miles away when you're in the middle of nowhere with miles of visibility, choppers you can hear from about ten...

FAA list of fines against UAS operators

I was pointing just pointing out that the pilots license requirement as well as their other recommendations such as staying under 400 ft aren't enforceable and there's no reason to get one, I never encouraged or endorsed flying unsafely. You should always fly safe and be mindful of your...

FAA list of fines against UAS operators

I think you'll notice I pointed out that you can be charged with reckless endangerment if you don't fly safely.
