another go app update fault march16

Dxtrty, They are saying you need to ensure you have activated map cache in the background in the general settings. The software update resets the map cache off. Having said that, I have reinstalled the App 4 times and set map cache on 4 times. Still no go.

another go app update fault march16

Good tip Dxtrty. The 2 thumbs pinching at the edges works 80% of the time. The dragging is very slow and seems the software needs a lot of time to buffer.

Dxtrty, I have exactly the same problems as you on an iPad Air. Very annoying but hoping for a patch from DJI soon...How about it DJI?

Flying in the rain? How wet is too wet?

Try some RainX applied on the lens. It is used on Formula 1 cars and water just streams off...no wipers needed. I use it on my windshield and leave the wipers off . At night you don't even know it's raining.

Changes to Low Battery Return to Home in the new Firmware v1.3.0

Hi fab72, All my flights were above 3ft. Mostly about 3m or 10ft. From time to time I got bored and went for a limited flight over the neighborhood. I live on the beachfront & at one stage was hovering about 25m up when a flock of seagulls attacked the Inspire. It must have been perceived as a...

Changes to Low Battery Return to Home in the new Firmware v1.3.0

That's a good question. If it was me, I would charge up to 100% & fly it down again only this time recharge up to the full 100%. It's a bugger to do it all over again but these batteries are too temperamental to fart around with The air temperature in Hobart was cool but the sun was warm today...

    Firmware v1.3.0.00 Update FAILURE

I've had 15 years more, but hey, it's not a pissing contest. The fact is the firmware is the same for everyone unless it has been corrupted. Sure people are having issues in downloading but they are from external factors other than the firmware. If you have followed the instructions and still...

Changes to Low Battery Return to Home in the new Firmware v1.3.0

I flew down 4 batteries on Friday & every 10 second warning I got had the bird stable. It did NOT start flying home. It was about the 5 sec mark I would cancel RTH. One point to remember though, I noticed the countdown had started at the moment the first words of the warning were uttered. In...

    Firmware v1.3.0.00 Update FAILURE

Hi PB30X, good to hear the upgrade went well. We need to let peeps know that issues are mostly from the user end. How else can others go thru it with ease. (Getting weary of the on-line bagging - my rant). And to answer your question. My test flights in GPS & Atti all performed faultlessly. No...

Nothing wrong with my v1.3.0 Everything went without a hitch. Can't be the firmware being the problem.
