    Controlled Flight Areas

Wow, I'm officially gobsmacked by the hostility and foul language presented in this thread. What gives? I also have to side with OP here - in the link to FAA regs that he provided, it clearly states that operators have to notify the ATC's in the current area before operations can commence -...

    Adding a second controller

Hi @heygeorge I bought the Inspire 1v2 and added a second remote quite quickly after. The process of binding the new remote to the AC was really easy, once I had matched the fw versions across units. I regularly fly alone with just the master controller, and all I have to do whenever I have a...

    Evening photo

Nice photo. I don't wanna spoil the fun, but you really should scale down your image posts here. 9.64MB is quite a lot for some users, and if every image upload was that size, the forum would be unusable for a few of us :) -Tom Sent from my iPhone using InspirePilots

    Battery Mod Info

Really, really helpful! [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303] I'll look into the amount of work/skill required as per your birdside mod recommendation, and make a decision later. I consider myself an OK+ solderer, so hopefully I'm in the clear. Thanks a ton, I'll remember your offer for additional...

    Battery Mod Info

Great, thanks a lot for this very useful information! I guess you're referring to soldering directly to the solderpoints beneath the controller. I've seen that others are talking about soldered directly to the golden brass(?) connectors that connects into the original DJI TB4x battery. What...

    Battery Mod Info

Hi guys! I've started preparing for a battery mod for one of my TB47s, and I purchased a couple of 2200mah 11.1V batteries, meaning to run them in series. I've charged both, but now when I measure the output voltage, my multimeter reads 12.5V output from each. In my world, this means the...

    Trackimo placement

I guess it's a 'peace of mind' thing. I've never had a flyaway, but that still doesn't account for pilot errors. If anything should happen to my Inspire, I'd sure want to find it after the fact. But of course, that's me :-)

    Trackimo placement

I see that thinginverse.com has quite a few nifty mounting solutions for both the Trackimo and other GPS trackers. Maybe it's time to consider buying a 3D printer? :)

    Trackimo placement

Sure, it fits quite nicely, I'm just not sure if it will be subject to any signal noise, or if the tracker will emit any signals back there that would cause malfunction of the drone. -Tom Sent from my iPhone using InspirePilots

    Trackimo placement

Hi all! I've been reading many threads about where to place the Trackimo on the I1, and I'm still not sure about where mine's going :-) Using heavy duty «velcro» similar to 3M Dual lock, I've tried out a placement above the «usual» place on the tail of the AC. I have still not flown it...

Returned DOA TB47 to DJI, after 3 months the replacement has arrived...

Thanks for the sound advice. Battery is now being returned, and a TB48 replacement is on the way. Sent from my iPad using InspirePilots

Returned DOA TB47 to DJI, after 3 months the replacement has arrived...

Guess what..? It's dead as well! How the heck can QC at the DJI facilities be so poor that they repeatedly ship dead batteries to customers using (semi) professional equipment? Admittedly, I haven't put the battery in the multi charger, but there is no response when the button is pressed...

Moving across screen while background changes

If you look at the video OP posted, you'll see that the two shots he's referring to are tracking shots, which are kinda cool and fairly easy to achieve, even with modest gear.

Moving across screen while background changes

The examples shows nothing more than tracking shots - a moving subject and a camera following the same axis but at a given distance. Achievable by using a dolly or with one of the cool stabilizing devices like an Osmo or a Feyiutech handheld gimbal. Tracking shot - Wikipedia
