another tip for those who don't know. if you put the camera on before turning it on and then hold it up so as not to have the camera touching the ground and turn on the transmitter and then the camera the Inspire will go out of transport mode. Saves a step.

just got my replacement Inspire today for my Inspire that ended up in the water. i was told they would not repair it. they would not admit the loss of transmitter signal after the last f.w. update was an issue..so i had to pay a reduced price to get a new one. this one is registered to me so...

you have to be 60 ft. away from your initial point to set a dynamic home point if i remember right.

i know if mine is recording video i have to land and stop the bird and then switch to photo mode. i does not seem to record the photos if i try it in the air. give this a try and see if it work. it seems i have to choose one or the other in each flight. of course you have to turn off the video...
