How did you submit your exemptions?

Transpire, To my knowledge all you need to do is fill out the "N" number form and send in the receipt for your UAV. No need to complicate the process. I am still waiting to get mine back but that's all I did and thats exactly how I was told to do it from the FSDO Office here in SLC.

If you buy your UAV from a store the only thing you need is the original receipt. I don't know about if you buy one used but it don't seem to be a big issue with them at the moment.

The person allying needs to remember that if they want to be exempt from a rule they need to include it in their exemptions otherwise they will not be exempt from it. This is for things like airworthiness. My local FSDO showed me one the other day that's NOT exempt from airworthiness because...

Any time you are going to use a UAS for commercial purposes you will need a 333 exemption. You should be fine with your current license and medical card but you still need to get the 333.

So with this being so new, where are some good areas to advertise and get revenue flowing? So far cold calling is the only way we are seeing because most places such as local business listings don't have these options on their sites like they do automotive, computer repair and so on.....

An N number is a number you get like a registration number. They go on your UAV and you can get them here! Insurance you should get in touch with your insurance agent and get liability that covers drone usage. I carry $1m Liability and $10k on each drone. This is a Business Liability insurance...

Yes they will send you and email and copy of your exemptions via USPS mail when they have been granted.
