I have an Inspire 1 V1 on 1.3.0.0. I bought an X5 camera on 1.11.1.50. Installed the X5 plate, put the camera on and everything works as is, DJI GO 3.1.18. No need for PRO FW or any upgrade, I was quite surprised but hey, it all works as is! V.

Respond to myself... yes the X5 works just fine on my V1 Inspire 1 with FW 1.3.0.0.

Hello folks, these thread seems the most detailed about firmwares... My I1 is currently on 1.3.0.0. Do you guys know if that will work with an X5? Will it depend on the X5 FW? Thx! V.

Yes I did on my I1. Changed tilt angles, speed up/down, NFZ, max altitude. I had it on FW 1.2 and moved up to 1.3. It is a beast now, I need to check how to tame the control stick curves to make it less responsive!! I'm afraid to tax the batteries a bit too much tough, especially on fast ascent...

I have an Inspire 1 on the old 1.2 firmware (as per July 2015). I have done the compass calib once in 2015 and never again since. Note that I ship the bird to Sicily every summer and back to Ireland for the winter. Never had an issue so I firmily believe that compass calib is NOT needed. Vincenzo

The software is limited to 500m that's more than 1500ft. There was a bug that allowed you to go beyond that with RTH but with vertical speed limited to 1m/sec. So at 900ft you are well within DJI allowance. V.

No Prob DroneX. Note that the INA226 reads up to ~80mV across the shunt, so with a 0.002 Ohm shunt your full scale current is 0.08/0.002=40A. So you may want to order a few different shunts to match your expected max current. In my case with 0.015Ohm I can read up to ~5.3A, and that's ok with my...
