I believe you are mistaken. Nowhere does it say flying within 5 miles of crowds is illegal. Not sure if you're serious or just trolling.

The lens definitely requires balancing. The lens has some weight to it but its short in length so I had to add some weight on the lens hood quite often. It balances differently on the osmo compared to the inspire. If you use a solid ND filter that could help counterbalance the back heaviness...

Night scenes were wide open at f/2 or f/2.8 and the day scenes mostly centered around f/4 -f/8 or so. Sharpest aperture was around f/4-f/5.6 in my experience.

For the X5R, its tricky. It requires you to do the "dummy lens" trick to get the app to work with it. Basically you start up drone/osmo with a compatible lens that the app recognizes, while gimbal is still live you quickly switch it out to the Laowa (or any other manual lens). This tricks the...

First time filming a storm of any kind. This is known as heat lightning.....the atmosphere is freakishly still and quiet, but the most brilliant lightshow ever was occurring in the sky. Luckily I had my Inspire 1 X5R in the back seat:) Watch in 4K with good speakers!
