I actually haven't noticed birds around it ever. Before or after paint. I also fly mostly mostly around my farm which is pretty wide open and not many trees. I did find and order a new ESC/motor. It's going to take a week to get here so I'm going to continue to entertain offers.

I flew about 5 minutes yesterday (somebody else calibrated) and holy sh!t!!! Makes P2V+ feel like a wal-mart toy. I'm gonna get more familiar in GPS mode then get comfortable with ATTI since I never used it with the P2V+. Then I'll try solo calibration. Thanks again
