Advice on Inspire 1 Zenmuse X3 camera settings

For some reason a clear, even blue sky has a strong gradient from light to very dark blue.
This occurs without a filter and also with an 8 filter (so far) on the Zenmuse X3 camera.

You can see what I'm talking about in this footage:

FYI the sun was not off to the left where the sky looks lighter. It was actually behind and slightly to the right.
Time of day was about 8:00am.

Any tips on settings that might reduce or eliminate this are appreciated.
Or possibly upgrading to another camera?

Never had this effect with my X3.
What settings did you use? It's possible your X3 is not ok. Maybe a firmware update or downgrade will do the trick. Since when did you get this? Any updates done recently?

Thanks for the reply.
• I'm using the default settings of the camera at the moment.
• The firmware is up to date but I think the issue has persisted through several updates.
• I've tried adjusting blue in Premiere Pro but the effect is so strong that I can't really do much.
• I'll look into the camera settings and see if any fiddling there makes a difference.
