Any tips for cold weather?

A production company I work with might be sending me to Alaska in a few weeks and as someone who lives in Tennessee, I'm not used to the cold weather up there. I don't have any details about where I'm going (just Alaska and a date range to hold) but I just wanted to be prepared in general. I've read up on the potential battery issues and plan to take both the battery warmer and insulation stickers. I'm mainly wondering if there are other non-battery related issues with flying in the cold that I should be aware of.

One issue photographers in general have is bringing cold equipment in to a warm room at end of day. You will get lots of condensation. The recommendation was to leave equipment in the bag and let it warm up slowly.
