I have just noticed this problem and would like to see if anyone else has the same issue.
Here are the steps to recreate the problem:

1. In DJI Go app, choose aperture priority mode
2. Set the aperture to f8 (or anything higher than max)
2. Take one or more photos
3. View the photos using the playback button (either on the controller or on the screen)
4. Return to the camera view
5. Now look at the aperture setting - has it reverted to f1.8 (or whatever your max aperture is)

Note 1: The aperture usually resets the first time I go through this sequence but sometimes it takes 2 or 3 photo reviews before I get the problem.
Note 2: I tried the same sequence with Shutter mode and it does not seem to have the same problem.

I was on v1.9 firmware and have reinstalled 1.8 firmware but I still get this problem.
DJI support have told me to send the unit back to DJI but before I do so I would like to see if anyone else has this issue which may point to a firmware issue so I don't have to return the unit.

I have seen this behavior as well over the last few firmware updates. I also have issues with the ISO settings not sticking...

Likewise if you switch from video to photo and back again - frustrating.
