Are P3 and I1 cameras really the same?

I've read on this forum that the P3 and I1 cameras are the same. They have different gimbals, but they have the same sensor, lens, and features, right?

I was in a DJI authorized dealer store today and the guys there said the I1 camera is better. When I asked in what way, they said the quality of the image, which isn't a technical or objective comment. Nevertheless, anyone here want to comment on the video quality of the P3 vs. the I1?

Both are equally flawed in my opinion. I have both and considering what the camera cost it has a decent image, but I still cringe every time I look at the video quality. I can't wait for a camera upgrade on the Inspire1!

The only noticeable difference is that the Inspire 1 camera can be rotated 360 degrees. It's also detachable, which means you'll be able to upgrade it at some point in the future.
