I have been asked to go, but it seems that ALL Rc flying has been banned

From what I can see, only "recreational drones" are banned.

Where are you looking? on the customs website it states that all Rc aircraft are banned from import.

Love Bahrain, was there a year, can't imagine they'd be happy, it would be a nice place to film though.
Import? Maybe a difference in meanings, you can't import one to buy? Ask them if you can bring one into the Country as an Expat. Just a thought.

I was in Bahrain for 3 years... I went to the Bahrain International Schools there, made a lot of great friends.. was in Abu Dhabi for 2 years before that. Both great places. I would love to go back and visit again. I've got some pics of Salman Al Khalifah from school.. I believe he is running that country now? or is it Hamed Bin Isa? I see now it's Hamad... Sulman is the IISS (International Institute of Strategic Studies) spokesperson, and Prime Minister.
