Best Firmware and GO?

I'm contemplating buying an Inspire 1 v2.0.
I have been reading about bad firmware causing problems.
I have a P3P and have seen the same thing mentioned on that forum.
At this point, and I know everyone has their own opinion,
what is the best AC/RC firmware and GO app?

What version is your GO App?
I didn't think 1.6 would work with the newer versions of the GO App

3.1.2 on ios. Works great.

If your operating commercially u might want to check yr insurance policy. My policy requires that you can only operate with the latest firmware.

Have you checked out AOPA insurance options? Given their background and support for PPL holders, seems like a great resource in general
