Crazy, That's really all I can think of when I see this!
I have many boat landings under my belt but i just cant comprehend a scenario where I would be comfortable taking my hands away from the primary controls of the UAV to take hold of an unmanned uav with a boat pitching up to it!
Just saying, accident waiting to happen in my opinion.
Glad you got it down safely but I always use a second pair of hands to launch and recover.

That particular day I made over 6 successful landings into my palm and a dozen for the day. Having done this more times than I care to remember experience played a large role in those successful landings. If you notice in the video I had the control I needed to land it in my hands safety to the end as elevation control was really the only thing I needed once the bird was ready to come in. None-the-less it was always a bit nerve wrecking and not recommended for anyone that doesn't have a few hours under their belt. 6 TB48 battery changes later I was done with the footage and happy for it.....at least the landings in the waves......lol
