C1 Controller button issue

When drone is idle an on ground I can use the combination of holding the C1 and using the left wheel button to move the camera right and left. When I am flying that combo does not work. The C1 button is currently set to center the camera view.

That is the way it works, you have to switch the gimbal mode from follow to free to make the yaw work with the C1 and left wheel button. Hopefully DJI will return it to the way the Inspire 1 was.
